White star line key tag

I have a key ring with some very old keys and a small oval stamped metal tag that reads:

" J.C. Williams
White Sar Line
19 Broadway"

I’m guessing that the person that set the type mistakenly left out the t in "Star" ( the numeral 1 on nineteen is also inverted). The address I found for the White Star offices in NYC is 9 Broadway - close but not 19 Broadway.

I’m wondering if anyone can provide any additional information or incites concerning J.C. Williams or whether these keys are in fact associated with the White Star Line?
