Looking for information about Charles Hoyer

Post by Scotchjc »

He was supposedly a Captain of the SS Atlantic in the 1860, 1870's.

Any help appreciated

It’s true that finding details about Charles Hoyer is tough given how long ago he sailed. Sometimes old shipping records, maritime archives, or historical newspapers can have mentions, so checking those might turn up something, even if it’s just a brief reference.нулс бравл

Old maritime records like Lloyd’s Register, crew lists, or newspaper archives from the 1860s are the most reliable places to check. If he really captained SS Atlantic, there should be at least a few mentions in voyage logs or shipping reports from that period.нулс бравл
